At Salem Hospital , Stephanie tries to calm down her mother who keeps on insisting to leave the hospital. Kayla requests for a print out of the baby’s heart rate and they find out that there were no contractions, giving Kayla more reasons that they can now go home. But the nurse reminds them that Dr. Ellman gave strict orders. Kayla then calls Roman and fins out he’s on his way to visit her. He tells her that he wants to convince Bo not to check himself out. Kayla tells Roman of Steve’s ex-girlfriend. She says that the woman is stalking Steve and Steve might be in trouble. When Roman leaves, Kayla orders Stephanie to get an orange juice. The moment Stephanie leaves the room, Kayla also leaves her bed to escape.

Bo begs Lexie to allow him to leave the hospital so he can search for Hope. He also pleads to Lexie not to mention Hope to Roman, the same time that Roman enters the room. When Roman asks where Hope is, Bo quickly answers that she’s just resting. Lexie kept quiet, much to Bo’s delight.

Kayla storms inside Bo’s room and interrogated him. She tells him of Steve’s disappearance, which surprises Bo. Bo admitted to Kayla that Ava thought Hope was Kayla, that’s why Hope got dragged into the mess. They decide not to involve the police because Ava has some connections. Both could not physically do something as Bo should still be in the hospital bed while Kayla’s pregnancy might be put to risk.

Stephanie panics to find her mother’s bed empty but a nurse tells her Kayla is just in Bo’s room. Roman takes Stephanie for a coffee. A mysterious man in scrubs secretly takes a picture of Stephanie through his cell phone.

In Ava’s compound, Steve knocks on the window of Hope’s bedroom. He explains that the alarms of the windows. Ava then tells Steve to hide and puts on the blaring sound of the radio. She pretends to read a book when Angelo comes in to demand her to lower the volume. She complied but turned the volume down only slightly. When Angelo leaves, Hope breaks the window. The music is louder than the alarm and she ran with Steve. However, the guards stood on their way and Angelo catches up.

Back at the house, a very tense Ava resisted sitting for her therapy session with her doctor. Suspicious, the doctor warned her that he would have a look around in order to find the source of tension in the house. Ava quickly blamed the tension on her confinement, explaining that she had been applying pressure to her cousins to let her out. Satisfied, the doctor decided to go ahead with their session. A timid Ava asked the doctor why she was not getting better, and he explained that it was likely because she had not yet recovered her traumatic, repressed memories from when Steve left. Rather cryptically, Ava grumbled that she thought there was another reason for the repressed memory. After a couple of half-hearted attempts, a frustrated Ava gave up. The doctor fed her a couple of pills to sedate her, but Ava still could not recover her hidden memories. Tired of trying, Ava began to cry and convinced the doctor that they had done enough work for the day. Once the doctor left, a bleary-eyed Ava called for Angelo and ordered him to bring Steve to her. After being informed that Steve and his wife had escaped, an angry Ava frantically paced the room.

Ava gets mad then she shows Steve the cell phone which has Stephanie’s photo in it. She tells him, “Escape again and she's dead.”About the Author:
